If you would have rolled over to show the ink and kept your back arched just like this....this would have been another one of those mind blowing captures! It's still good though.

i try not to use my side tattoo in every photo because i don't want the success of the image to depend on something on my body.

It doesn't matter because it is already a part of you and your body. You can make it work for you in marvalous ways. Especially when you start experimenting with photoshop or meet people who can!

You missed the point. I don't WANT it to be a main factor in my photos. So sometimes, I exclude it. If my tattoo isn't in a picture, that doesn't mean it's a failure or could be better with my tattoo in it... it's done on purpose because I didn't want my tattoo to be in the photograph for a reason. I HAVE made my tattoo work for me in select photographs. But you don't seem to realize that overusing it in photos can become redundant and eventually uninteresting.

I appreciate your critique, but anyone can back me up on my point. It's a technical aspect of photography, not a profound statement.
Overusing a particular element becomes redundant.
I already have a black and white photo similar to that one with my tattoo in it in my gallery. Did you take the time to notice that?


And please, don't act like you know what I "want to hear."

Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't mean you should get defensive and rude.
