New ID for 2009.
Got a new camera from my grandparents for Christmas. Totally didn't expect it at all, I was saving to buy it myself.

Eternally grateful and never expecting a gift from anyone ever again, I decided to buy a new lens as a "you did really good in school" present to myself with the money that I was saving for the camera. So this Christmas, I got a Canon 450D and a 50mm 1.4 lens.

I'm pretty stoked.

What a completely awesome shot. Wonderful S-curve, the red patch shining out of the neutral colors, a sharp division of thirds... Very well done.
